Happy February! It's time for a new #flashfictionfriday prompt. Let us know what you'd like to see us writing about for the next month! January's prompt was: "Your character just moved to a new city. Where do they go first?" We had three amazing pieces of original flash fiction from our writers, all of which you can find on our blog of you haven't read them already! In "And You Thought Having an English Degree Was Bad," @ten.yen.ren wrote about the struggles of finding a job in Rome when your CV boasts a B.O. (Bachelor of Occultism). @juliatlye wrote a heart-wrenching story about reconnecting with an estranged parent when it feels like the world is collapsing around you. And in "Dress for the Job You Want" by @alicia.haniford , a luggage mix-up on a business trip leads to an awkward case of mistaken identity....

Welcome to 2020! New year, new blog. We're excited to announce one series in particular: flash fiction Fridays 🖊️ watch out for the chance to submit a writing prompt at the beginning of each month, and our lovely writers will treat you to some flash fiction every Friday.
